Job summary

Aura Health in California is seeking two Neurosurgery Physician Assistants for locum tenens coverage. You will join a busy neurosurgery team handling consults, pre-op evaluations, rounding, surgical assisting and post-operative follow-ups. Shifts are 10 hours, four days a week with no nights or weekends.

Experience with spine surgery is preferred. Proficiency with the Cerner EMR and completing credentialing within about 90 days are expected.

Qualifications

• Active California Medical License and DEA license are required.
• National Certification through NCCPA is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
