Job Details

• Locum engagement covering 40 hours per week beginning mid-December 2026 through at least April 2027
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule with no call coverage required
• 100% inpatient practice setting serving adult and geriatric patient populations
• Provide post-procedural daily care for neurosurgery patients
• Facilitate patient and family communication and education
• Collaborate closely with one employed neurosurgery NP
• EMR/Documentation performed using EPIC
• Board certification required
• Active Virginia license required - providers who need to obtain will not be accepted
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Active DEA required
• Clean background with no malpractice or license issues - no exceptions
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 120 days
• Approved travel reimbursements include airfare, rental car, lodging, and mileage at IRS rate
