Job summary

Geisinger Neurosurgery Institute in Danville, PA seeks an experienced physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our Neurosurgery team at Geisinger Medical Center. The role focuses on outpatient clinics with rotating inpatient coverage and dedicated OR coverage on Fridays.

You will work under physician supervision in a world-class Neuroscience Institute that embraces innovation, teamwork and high-value patient care.

Qualifications

• Must complete an ARC-PA approved PA program and be NCCPA certified or eligible.
• PA or NP licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Experience in neurosurgery or acute care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinic services in neurosurgery, with rotating inpatient/consult coverage.
• Share primary OR coverage on Fridays and as needed Monday–Thursday.
• Work under physician supervision in a high-volume Neuroscience Institute.
