Geisinger’s Neuroscience Institute seeks a neurology physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join the neurology team at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The role primarily supports outpatient clinic activities with a possible inpatient component.

The successful candidate will have an ARC-approved PA program background, NCCPA certification, and PA state licensure eligibility.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of ARC-approved physician assistant program.
• Eligible or certified by NCCPA and eligible or certified by PA State Board of Medicine.

Aufgaben

• Perform initial assessment and triage in outpatient setting.
• Track lab results and coordinate with physician for follow-up.
• Arrange appropriate follow-up for patients.
• Respond to calls from patients and families and relay plan to them.
• Assist in preauthorization for medications and tests.
