Responsibilities

• Provides direct care, counseling, and teaching to designated patient populations in ambulatory, inpatient, and operative settings.
• Performs histories and physical examinations.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Develops plans of care and follow-up.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions per policies.
• Maintains thorough documentation including notes and discharge summaries.
• May assist in the OR and participate in inpatient neurosurgery care.
