Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant required.
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in MA (MA lic.) required.
• Experience as a licensed PA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care, counseling, and teaching to patients in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and/or procedural settings.
• Performs complete histories and physical examinations.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions according to organizational and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Serves as first-call for ED and inpatient consultations, triaging appropriately.
• May assist in the operating room with neurosurgeon.
• Supports the ambulatory setting with new, established, or follow-up patients.
• Maintains ACLS certification and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
