Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is seeking a Physician Assistant to join a growing Neurosurgery team supporting Reading, PA. The role blends inpatient, outpatient, and surgical responsibilities, including first assisting in the operating room.

This position offers a dynamic APP team environment with exposure to a wide range of neurosurgical cases and active involvement in patient management and surgical procedures. Call and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• First assisting in the operating room
• Shunt taps
• Lumbar punctures (LPs)
• External ventricular drain (EVD) placement
• Assisting with cranial and spine neurosurgical procedures
• Provide outpatient clinic coverage for new and established patients
• Perform inpatient rounding and consult evaluations
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, and APP colleagues
• Participate in surgical cases alongside neurosurgeons and residents
• Participate in shared call coverage

Responsibilities
