Northwell in New York, NY seeks an experienced Nurse Manager to lead a patient care unit, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure high-quality, family-centered care. The role emphasizes professional practice, staff development, and budget oversight.

The position requires a BSN with MSN preferred, NYS RN licensure, and 6-8 years of nursing experience including 2-5 years in leadership. Relocation and loan repayment options may be available.

Formación

• BSN required; MSN preferred.

• Current NYS RN license.
• Specialized certifications, as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Manages and has continuous responsibility for the team members, operations and patient care activities of a patient care unit.
• Assists nursing leadership in setting strategic direction for key programs in alignment with organization mission, vision, and values and nursing strategic plan.
• Communicates, builds consensus, and guides team toward achieving department objectives.
• Promotes and maintains high quality patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Creates a professional work environment that fosters team member respect, engagement, accountability and optimal patient outcomes.
