Pacific Central Coast Health Centers seeks a Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality neurosurgical care. You will conduct neurosurgical consultations, round on inpatients, assist in operations, and support both surgeon-led and independent clinics to optimize patient outcomes.
The role requires completing an accredited NP/PA program, CA licensure, and first-assist surgical experience. A strong preference for at least 2 years in Neurosurgery is noted.
As our Neurosurgery NP/PA, you will help patients suffering from neurological or neurosurgical disorders manage their acute and chronic conditions so they can achieve better health through comprehensive, high-quality neurosurgical care.
Every day you willperform neurosurgical consultations, round on inpatients, assist in surgery, and support both surgeon-led and independent clinics.You will be expected toassess, diagnose, and treat patients, order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide extensive patient education and counseling.
To be successful in this role, you willpossess the clinical training to perform neurosurgical evaluations and the collaborative skills to work effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient, patient-centered care.
