Job summary

Dignity Health's Pacific Central Coast Health Centers in California seeks a Neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive neurosurgical care to patients with neurological conditions. You will conduct consultations, perform inpatient rounds, assist in surgery, and support both surgeon-led and independent clinics.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients, order and interpret tests, prescribe medications, and deliver extensive patient education.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• CA RN license in good standing.
• Active APRN license in California.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Proficiency with Windows or basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform neurosurgical consultations and inpatient rounds.
• Assist in neurosurgical procedures and support clinics.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat neurosurgical patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications.
• Provide comprehensive patient education and counseling.
