UPMC Hamot Neurosurgery and Neurointervention is hiring a Full-Time Supervisor (Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner) to join our team. The ideal candidate has prior APP managerial experience and at least 3 years of Neurosurgery experience, with a Master's degree required. Hours are 7 AM - 3:30 PM with some on-call and weekends.

Competenze

Master's degree required.
5 years as a certified nurse practitioner, physician assistant or relevant managerial experience required (at least 3 of the 5 years from APP experience).
3 years experience in the department specialty preferred.
PA: ARC-PA accredited program; CRNP: approved Nurse Practitioner program; hospital privileges contingent; CPR required.

Mansioni

Organize and oversee staffing of clinical sites with attending physician and Director of Operations.
Liaison for all mid level providers for each site; communication to division management and physicians on behalf of mid level providers.
Act as a liaison to and preceptor for PA and CRNP students.
Provide day-to-day management and supervision of PA/CRNP staff and annual performance evaluations.
