Qualifications

• MD/DO with unrestricted license required.
• Academic appointment at CWRU SOM commensurate with experience.
• Fellowship training in subspecialties is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care for neurosurgery/critical care patients.
• Prescribe medications and treatment regimens as appropriate.
• Refer patients to specialists and care components as needed.
• Supervise medical students and residents in specialty activities.
• Manage daily operations of a medical program or unit as applicable.
• Coordinate patient care activities with nursing and support staff.
• Adhere to department policies and quality/safety standards.
• Participate in health promotion and education programs.

Education

Doctorate Degree Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy

Appointment with CWRU SOM at the level commensurate with experience

Fellowship Training in some specialties
