Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Medical Group is seeking a Surgical Physician Assistant or APRN to join the neurosurgery team. This role includes 1:1 training with a neurosurgeon, opportunities for growth, and OR 1st assist responsibilities within a well-established practice.

The position requires CT licensure eligibility, and preferred experience includes neurosurgery or orthopedic settings with OR 1st Assist. Full-time shifts are four 10-hour days, Monday through Friday, with variable hours based on case

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or NP master's program preferred.
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Physician Assistant or APRN in Connecticut.
• Certification or eligible for certification as a Physician Assistant or NBC-APRN.

Responsibilities

• We have a growth opportunity for a Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) or APRN who will enjoy 1:1 training with a neurosurgeon.
• Work with a team of advanced practitioners with Neurosurgery experience and handle cranial/spine procedures.
• Provide 1st assist in the operating room and participate in ongoing professional development.

• Advanced surgical procedures both cranial and spine. Specializing in skull base procedures
• Established practice and staff who take time with their patients

Shift - Full Time four 10-hour shifts, M-F. Hours may vary dependent upon case load

Qualifications
