Job summary

UCSF is seeking a neurosurgeon to join its Department of Neurological Surgery as a full-time faculty member at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, providing clinical care at UCSF Parnassus and affiliated network sites throughout Northern California. Responsibilities include clinical service and may also include teaching and research.

Candidate must possess an MD, MD/PhD or equivalent and be eligible for a California medical license.

Qualifications

• MD or MD/PhD (or equivalent) required.
• Eligibility for California medical license; license by start date.
• Academic appointment commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical neurosurgery service at UCSF Parnassus and affiliated sites.
• May include teaching and research responsibilities.
