Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for administrative and clinical support in our Neurosurgery SGF outpatient setting. You will answer phones, schedule appointments, and enter data; perform vital signs, collect demographics, and review medication lists to prepare patients for examinations.

Responsibilities include administering medications as ordered, maintaining clean rooms, stocking supplies, and collaborating with a healthcare team to ensure efficient patient flow in a day

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state board accredited practical nursing program
• Previous nursing experience preferred, outpatient/ambulatory clinic setting advantageous
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and data entry in medical records.
• Measure and record vital signs and collect demographics and medical information.
• Review medication lists and prepare patients for examination.
• Administer medications as ordered by the physician; maintain clean rooms and stock supplies.
