Job summary

The Queen’s Health System in Hawaii seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA) to join the Neurosurgery team. You will diagnose, treat, and prescribe as part of a multidisciplinary care team, covering inpatient, perioperative, and outpatient care under physician supervision.

Required licensure, board certification, prescriptive authority, and credentialing are essential; RNFA or APRN fellowship experience is preferred, with strong emphasis on patient education and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Current Hawaii license as an APRN or Physician Assistant
• Board certification aligned with area of assignment
• RNFA Program completion for APRN positions (if APRN)
• Prescriptive authority for non-controlled or controlled substances may be required
• Credentialing and privileging required if providing medical care
• Two years nursing experience or APRN Fellowship preferred
• One year clinical APRN/PA experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic, treatment, and prescriptive care across neurosurgery
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Develop care protocols and participate in education and interdisciplinary research
• Engage in perioperative and postoperative management and patient advocacy
