Tampa General Hospital, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) for the Neurosurgery team. The APP will conduct consults, round inpatients, document care, and manage perioperative patients while collaborating with physicians and residents.

Candidates should hold FL APRN/PA licensure with acute care certification, BLS/ACLS, and strong patient-assessment skills. Fellowship opportunities are available for new graduates transitioning into practice.

Formación

• Current licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida.
• Acute Care or Adult Gerontology Acute Care board certification.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Strong clinical skills in patient assessment.
• Preferred: neurology background or 1 year PA/APRN experience.

Responsabilidades

• Consults with residents and attendings on the consult service.
• Inpatient rounds on neurosurgery patients including stepdown and floor units.
• Document patient care, progress notes, and medical orders.
• Pre/postoperative patient care management.
• Collaborate with physicians, residents, and fellows for patient care.
