Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current Texas licensure or eligibility for Texas licensure.
• Board Certified NP or PA.
• Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Spine, Neurology, Surgical, or Critical Care experience preferred.
• New graduates with relevant clinical rotations may be considered.
• Excellent communication and team-oriented skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage neurosurgical patients in clinic, hospital, and perioperative settings.
• Conduct patient histories, physical examinations, and follow-up visits.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Assist with preoperative and postoperative patient management.
• Provide patient education regarding surgical procedures, recovery, and care plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing and imaging studies.
• Participate in hospital rounds and consultations.
• Document patient encounters utilizing electronic medical records.
