Job summary

The Neurosurgeon within Acclaim Multi‑Specialty Group's Department of Surgery in Fort Worth provides comprehensive neurosurgical care for brain, spine and peripheral nervous system disorders. Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Neurosurgery.
• Board Certification in Neurosurgery.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Texas.
• Experience in Level-1 Trauma Center environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in a large public/county facility and Level-1 Trauma Center environment.
• Demonstrate neurosurgical techniques and treatment for neurological and neurosurgical conditions.
• Maintain excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Develop and participate in community activities and medical outreach.
• Collaborate with other neurosurgeons, residents, fellows, APPs and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Review patient charts to assist with diagnosis and care management.
• Provide patient referrals when necessary.
• Ensure services comply with JPS Health Network and Acclaim Physician Group guidelines.
• Provide care education to patients and families.
• Support academic, educational and research endeavors.
• Provide trauma call coverage and emergency neurosurgical services.
