Job summary

SGMC Health in Valdosta, Georgia, seeks a neurosurgeon focused on spine and/or cranial surgery to join a team of two neurosurgeons. The role includes clinic duties on SGMC’s main campus, hospital-based practice, and a 1:3 call schedule with weekend coverage. The ideal candidate is BC/BE by ABNS, licensed in Georgia, and experienced with EPIC. Relocation assistance and CME support are available to the right candidate.

Qualifications

• BC/BE by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
• Eligible for unrestricted Georgia medical licensure.
• Experience with EPIC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Full-time, hospital-based neurosurgery position.

Position Description

• Full-time, permanent position
• Call is 1:3, includes weekend call
• Neurosurgery clinic located on SGMC main campus
• Level III Trauma Center
• All surgeries performed on main campus
• Hospital based employment, shared call and interest in cranial cases is preferred
