Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a qualified physician (MD/DO) to perform comprehensive patient evaluations and deliver evidence-based medical care.

You will lead patient care teams and collaborate with other clinicians to develop and implement treatment plans. The role requires current board certification or eligibility in the relevant specialty, with experience in a similar setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited medical school with residency and/or fellowship in area of specialty.
• Board certification or eligibility in the specialty.
• Current or recent experience in area of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical examination of all patients seen.
• Provide high-quality, cost-effective care based on best practice evidence.
• Adhere to standardized orders and guidelines approved by medical staff.
• Demonstrate competency in assessment and treatment appropriate to patient age.
• Provide regular communication with referring physicians, patients and families.
• Educate patients and families and participate in their health care planning.
• Coordinate patient care and referrals with other professionals and agencies.
• Maintain knowledge of current medical practices and confidentiality.
