Practice Details: We have 2 APPs and 10 support staff. EMR System: Cerner. Location: 1541 Gull Road, Suite 200, Kalamazoo, MI. Additional clinics in Coldwater and Three Rivers.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinate discharge planning with case management.
• Participate in efforts to improve cost-effectiveness and quality of care.
• Accept patient referrals, act as admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician for hospitalized patients.
• Participate in academic programs such as medical education and research.
• Provide documentation that meets insurance requirements; timely appeals of denials.
• Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultations, including on-call schedules.

Requirements:

• MD or DO with Prescriptive Authority credential from the Michigan Board of Medicine (credentialing by Medical Staff department).
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
