The University of Chicago's Department of Surgery is seeking full-time Clinical Associates for a position responsible for providing care for colon and rectal surgery patients. The role does not involve teaching or research, and offers competitive compensation based on qualifications.
Salary Range: $400,000 - $750,000 per year
The University of Chicago's Department of Surgery, Section of Colon & Rectal Surgery, seeks full-time Clinical Associates at 100% effort for renewable terms of up to three years. Appointees will provide care for colon and rectal surgery patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. The practice location for these positions will primarily be in the western suburbs at the UChicago Medicine Advent hospital sites of practice, including Salt Creek and Orland Park. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent upon qualifications. Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board certified or eligible in Colon and Rectal Surgery or equivalent.
