Job description

General Neurosurgeon

Northern Light Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center seeks a BC/BE general neurosurgeon to join our busy and growing hospital-employed practice of four surgeons and seven physician assistants. This is an excellent opportunity to work in conjunction with a multi-specialty trauma program, supported by skilled staff.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Completed modernization including a Neuroscience Center with a concentration on Stroke and Complex Spine. This modernization consists of upgrades to our facility, operating room and equipment including a state-of-the-art 3D C-Arm and Image Guided Navigation systems.
  2. Support services include in-house hospitalists, stroke team, neurology, interventional pain, rehabilitation, diagnostic neuroradiology, fully staffed ICU, PICU and NICU, with dedicated intensivists.
