Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a technician to assist with administering noninvasive brain stimulation techniques in clinical and research settings at the Berenson-Allen Center for Noninvasive Brain Stimulation (BA-CNBS). Qualifications

• 1-3 years related work experience required.
• Experience with computer systems including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English in written and spoken form.

Responsibilities

• Applies noninvasive brain stimulation procedures (eg. TMS, tDCS, EMG, EEG) to patients and research participants.
• Records pertinent history of the patient's primary symptoms and explains procedures and risks to patients.
• Prepares a summary report of neurophysiologic data and compiles recordings.
• Facilitates communication among attendings and leads weekly clinical meetings.
• Trains new technicians under supervision and ensures equipment and lab cleanliness and maintenance.
