Neuroscience Territory Account Specialist – Miami/West Palm Beach – Remote

This is a field-based and remote opportunity supporting key accounts in an assigned geography. Novartis is unable to offer relocation support for this role; please only apply if this location is accessible for you.

The Territory Account Specialist (TAS) is a sales business leader who designs a customized customer experience tailored to each account and Healthcare Provider (HCP). Acting as the primary Point of Contact (PoC), the TAS engages with clients to identify mutual priorities and address their needs by problem-solving and leveraging Novartis resources to improve patient outcomes. The role requires expertise in clinical selling, account management, access navigation, and omni-channel engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic territory business plans to enhance product demand by addressing the needs of key partners and their patients, aiming for optimal outcomes.
  • Encourage clinical discussions that motivate customers to advocate for their patients, involving the account team to overcome barriers and meet customer needs.
  • Use market knowledge, industry trends, and cross-functional strategies to manage business opportunities and challenges effectively.
  • Conduct planning meetings with stakeholders to resolve complex issues and collaborate across departments.
  • Analyze market data to understand local business landscape, promote engagement, and lead interactions with customers.
  • Leverage systems and omni-channel strategies for personalized engagement in person or virtually.
  • Collaborate with regional colleagues, field staff, and home-office teams to meet customer needs and support access.
  • Provide timely access support and work with Patient Specialty Services (PSS) to address customer requirements.
Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 2+ years’ experience in specialty pharmaceuticals, biotech, or similar sales roles within the last 5 years.
  • Strong collaboration skills, proficient clinical product communication, a proven high-performance track record, and experience selling to large accounts.
  • Proactive with analytical skills to prioritize and solve problems ethically, ensuring compliance.
  • Reside within the territory or within 50 miles of the border; ability to travel 60-80% within the broad geography; valid driver’s license required.
Desirable Requirements
  • Experience with therapeutic groups, disease states, account strategies, and product launches.
  • Knowledge of patient services, market access, reimbursement, and medical calling on HCPs regarding sophisticated products or pathways.
Additional Information

Level will be based on experience: Territory Account Specialist (2+ years), Senior (5+ years), Executive (10+ years).

Driving is an essential function; a valid, unrestricted driver’s license is required. Reasonable accommodations are available for medical restrictions.

Compensation ranges vary by level, with additional benefits and potential bonuses. Final salary depends on experience, location, and other factors.
