Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Manager of Statistical Programming in Irvine, CA to guide a team of programmers in drug development. You will oversee SAS programs for ADaM data sets and Tables/Listing/Figures while ensuring regulatory-grade deliverables and CDISC compliance.

Responsibilities include team leadership, resource planning, and collaboration with Statistics, Data Sciences, Medical Writing, and Regulatory teams to drive timely, high-quality analyses for Neuroscience programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics or Mathematics required.
• 10+ years of relevant experience (or 8+ with a Masters).
• Experience leading a team or project of statistical programmers.
• Experience with SAS programming concepts related to drug development.
• In-depth understanding of CDISC standards.
• Experience with ADaM development and TLF generation.

Responsibilities

• Leads statistical programming activities for a compound/indication or therapeutic area in early development.
• Leads a team of statistical programmers and manages resource planning.
• Ensures timely deliverables and adherence to quality processes across projects.
• Develops and oversees SAS programs for ADaM data sets following CDISC standards.
• Develops SAS programs for Tables, Listings and Figures.
• Ensures consistency of ADaM data sets across studies and integrated data.
• Creates documentation for regulatory filings and data definitions.
• Leads development of standard SAS Macros and SOPs.
• Mentors assigned Statistical Programmers and Analysts.
