Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Manager of Statistical Programming to lead a team of statistical programmers in Neuroscience drug development. You will guide SAS-based ADaM data creation, TLF generation, and regulatory documentation while interfacing with Statistics, Data Sciences, Medical Writing and Regulatory teams.

The role requires 10+ years of experience (or 8+ with a Masters), and a strong track record in leading programming efforts, CDISC, and SAS programming within pharma development.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Statistics or Mathematics.
• 10+ years of relevant experience (or 8+ with a Masters).
• Experience leading a team or project of statistical programmers.
• Experience with SAS programming concepts and techniques in drug development.
• In-depth understanding of CDISC Standards.
• Experience with ADaM development and TLF generation.

Responsibilities

• Leads the statistical programming activities for a compound/indication or therapeutic area in early development.
• Manages a team of statistical programmers and resource planning for assigned staff.
• Ensures timely deliverables and adherence to quality processes across projects.
• Develops and oversees SAS programs for ADaM data sets following CDISC standards.
• Develops SAS programs for Tables, Listings and Figures.
