Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Pharmacovigilance professional to support the Product Safety Lead in ongoing safety surveillance of neuroscience products across their lifecycle. The role includes signal management, regulatory interpretation, and delivering PV documents.

You will analyze clinical data, contribute to medical safety assessments, PSRs, and risk management plans while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with residency and patient management experience.
• Experience analyzing clinical data and epidemiological information.
• Ability to write technical PV documents and present recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply pharmacology and non-clinical toxicology to safety surveillance.
• Conduct safety surveillance for neuroscience products in trials and post-marketing.
• Contribute to authorship of pharmacovigilance documents (safety assessments, PSRs, risk management plans).
• Apply regulatory guidance to PV activities and documents.
• Lead safety surveillance oversight for neuroscience products in various settings.
