Job summary

Georgia Tech is seeking a research technician for the SIPLab to work with Drs. Rozell and Alagapan on human neuroscience studies in Atlanta. A Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields with experience in neural data acquisition is preferred.

The role involves data collection, IRB documentation, and coordinating study visits. Initial appointment is 12 months with possible renewal; compensation aligns with experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in conducting human subject studies with neural data acquisition is preferred.
• Excellent communication in English and ability to coordinate multiple visits and documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform data collection in human subject research studies.
• Maintain study documentation including IRB protocols, consent forms, and questionnaires.
• Coordinate study visits with other study investigators.
• Assist in setting up and conducting testing under general direction.
• Maintain and organize study records and data integrity.
• Ensure safety and quality standards in lab operations.
• Provide general support to the SIPLab team as needed.
