Job summary

Augusta University’s Medical College of Georgia invites applications for a Research Associate in the Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine lab. The role supports advanced scientific and administrative work, participating in data collection and documentation under approved protocols.

You will develop and evaluate new research techniques, maintain equipment, supervise lab personnel, and coordinate activities with the PI and students.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's with relevant research experience
• Proficient in data collection, documentation, and protocol adherence
• Willingness to supervise lab personnel and coordinate activities

Responsibilities

• Participate in project planning and development of research protocols with adherence to guidelines
• Conduct cell biology and molecular biology experiments; may include ELISA, immunohistochemistry, and tissue collection
• Analyze results using imaging and software tools; develop programs if needed
• Maintain and update spreadsheets of results and inventories of mice and supplies
• Supervise and coordinate activities of students and staff; advise PI and researchers on techniques
• Manage lab operations, ordering, costs, and inventory; ensure data integrity
