Qualifications

• B.S. in Neuroscience or equivalent course work and experience.
• Professional research or analytical experience.
• Ability to exercise a high degree of sensitivity, empathy, compassion, and professionalism with patients, healthcare professionals, and research collaborators.
• Knowledge of neurophysiology, cognitive neuroscience, and psychology.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and nights for patient data collection.
• Ability to independently manage different research experiments at once.
• Knowledge of computers and software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neuronal recordings while administering experimental tasks to epilepsy and DBS patients with implanted electrodes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of researchers, clinicians, and clinical staff.
• Use MATLAB, Brainlab, and FSL for data preparation, processing, and analysis; present findings to the lab team.
