Job summary

UCLA is seeking a Staff Research Associate I to coordinate research projects in the lab. The role includes scheduling and screening participants, maintaining databases, and preparing IRB protocols.

The associate will lead data collection for a BrightFocus Foundation Grant, conducting behavioral tests and imaging while coordinating with participants across the lifespan. Experience with neuroimaging data collection or analysis is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field such as Psychology or Neuroscience or equivalent experience/training.
• Experience in managing databases and coordinating multiple tasks.
• Experience interacting with participants or special populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate research projects: scheduling and screening participants, maintaining databases, attending and taking notes in lab meetings, and submitting IRB protocols.
• Lead data collection for BrightFocus Foundation Grant, including behavioral, neuropsychological testing, MRI, PET imaging, and saliva collection.
• Interact professionally with participants across ages 18+, including older adults and those with neuropsychiatric conditions.
