Job summary

The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Research Assistant in Neurology at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh to assist with mouse colony management, breeding, genotyping, injections and pregnancy checks, and behavioral testing.

Responsibilities include harvesting mouse tissues for mitochondrial analysis, Western blotting, sequencing, histology, and other functional assays; imaging analysis and brain network studies, plus segmentation and volumetric analysis.

Qualifications

• Basic wet lab and computer skills required.
• Prior rodent research experience preferred.
