Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Registered Nurse in Neurosciences for an intermediate level, full-time night shift (7pm–7:30am) with rotating weekends. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered, with certain internal eligibility exceptions described in the posting.

The role requires Illinois RN licensure, ADN with BSN commitment, BLS, and strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to care for patients with neurological and spine disorders in a 24-bed unit.

Qualifications

• Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with others.
• Strong analytic abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to acutely ill patients using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate nursing care for Neurosciences patients in an inpatient setting.
