Job summary

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Neuroscience Quality Assurance Lead as a remote contractor (part-time) to oversee neuroscience and cognitive science AI training projects. You will review content, evaluate trainer and QA work against rubrics, and produce clear written feedback to maintain scientific accuracy and consistency.

You will support onboarding, calibration, and maintenance of style guides and documentation, communicating quality expectations to trainers and QAs working on neuroscience projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in neuroscience or cognitive science research, teaching, or data analysis.
• Strong written English for feedback and documentation.
• Ability to identify neuromyths, overclaiming, or misleading conclusions.
• Experience supporting remote teams of researchers, reviewers, or QA professionals is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review neuroscience and cognitive science items for accuracy, clarity, and rubric adherence.
• Evaluate AI-generated explanations, summaries, and interpretations for scientific correctness.
• Provide precise written feedback to trainers and QAs and document recurring issues.
• Maintain and improve style guides, FAQs, and onboarding materials.
• Communicate quality expectations to remote trainers and QAs; support scalable QA processes.
• Collaborate asynchronously with trainers and QAs on calibration tasks.
