Job summary

Lundbeck, a global biopharmaceutical company focused on brain health, seeks a Neuroscience Account Manager to promote our psychiatry portfolio to psychiatrists and institutional accounts in the NYC area. You will execute sales and marketing strategies with clinical knowledge to drive sales performance.

The role requires 4+ years in pharma or related healthcare sales, a BA/BS, exceptional communication, and the ability to travel up to 40% domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences degree from an accredited college or university.
• 4+ years pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales or related healthcare sales experience.
• Must demonstrate the intellectual capacity to score highly on disease and product training exams, including being certified on product knowledge annually.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and outstanding communication skills.
• Demonstrated skills at building and maintaining professional relationships with key customers, office staff and others in the customer influence network.
• Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries.
• Driving is an essential duty of this job; must have a valid driver’s license.
• Meeting and complying with reasonable industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers / customer facilities is required for continued employment with Lundbeck.

Responsibilities

• Business Planning & Account Leadership: use digital tools and data-based insights to create opportunities and strategies.
• Selling: deliver messages clearly, probe needs, overcome objections, and close with a commitment to action.
• Customer Development: build and maintain relationships based on customer needs and goals.
• Local Market & Therapeutic Area Expertise: track market trends and map account linkages for opportunities.
• Reimbursement: address payer access issues using Lundbeck resources.
• Pharmaceutical Environment/Compliance: adhere to policies and FDA regulations.
