Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of patient-, and family-centered practice and ability to collaborate with patients and care partners.
• Cultural awareness and ability to connect respectfully with diverse populations.
• Effective communication concepts, tools and techniques to convey information and collaborate with patients and families.
• Knowledge of patient assessment and care planning to inform treatment.
• Ability to educate patients and care partners on conditions, treatments and next steps.
• Knowledge of medication administration and prescription-related considerations.
• Discharge planning and arranging appropriate post-discharge care.
