Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in biology/neuroscience/animal science or related field; 1–3 years experience for intermediate level.
• Associate level requires 0–1 year experience; strong organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Ability to follow protocols precisely and maintain accurate records; good communication and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mouse colony management including breeding setup, weaning, ear tagging, and records.
• Perform routine mouse handling and animal-related procedures under supervision per care guidelines.
• Assist with brain tissue preparation: perfusion, dissection, fixation, embedding, sectioning, storage.
• Support histology and immunostaining as needed.
• Maintain organized records of animals, tissue samples, reagents, and procedures.
• Assist with general lab maintenance and equipment upkeep; prepare solutions and manage supplies.
• Collaborate with PI, postdocs, students, and lab members to support research activities.
