Job summary

OSF HealthCare in Peoria, IL, seeks a Registered Nurse (Inpatient/ED) to provide high‑quality care coordination across the continuum. You will collaborate with providers and a multidisciplinary team to assess symptoms, offer psychological support, and mentor teammates. Weekend requirement: 11 of 12 weekends.

Required: current RN licensure (Illinois or Michigan) and BLS; BSN preferred; EMR and basic MS Office proficiency. OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure by state Board of Nursing (Illinois or Michigan).
• Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.
• BSN preferred; Experience as an RN in a healthcare environment; EMR & Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide care coordination with providers and the multidisciplinary care team.
• Assess physical symptoms and provide psychological support to patients, friends, and families.
• Mentor assigned team members and maintain professional disposition.
• Will be scheduled and required to work 11 out of every 12 weekends.
