Job summary

Prolific is seeking Neuroscience Experts to act as evaluators for a high-level AI verification project. You will review dense scientific literature to judge the accuracy and integrity of AI-generated graphical abstracts.

The role is remote and ad hoc, paying $40+ per hour. Experts will pass a paid skills assessment with a sample paper and graphical abstract before joining Prolific's network.

Qualifications

• Specialized knowledge: Deep expertise in Neuroscience.
• Advanced Academic Credentials: Master’s or PhD in Neuroscience or related field.
• Analytical skills with history of fact-checking tasks and strong attention to detail.
• Nice to have: Experience with AI-related training or evaluation and a background in scientific publishing or peer review.

Responsibilities

• Scientific Review: review scientific papers alongside AI-generated graphical abstracts.
• Fact-Checking: identify inaccuracies where the graphical abstract does not faithfully represent the source paper.
• Expert Verification: use domain knowledge to ensure concepts are summarized correctly.
• Paid skills assessment: must pass a paid assessment with a sample paper and graphical abstract.
