Job summary

Prolific is seeking Neuroscience experts to act as evaluators for a high-level AI verification project. You will review scientific papers and LLM-generated graphical abstracts to ensure accuracy and adherence to the source material.

Selected experts will pass a paid skills assessment with a sample paper and graphical abstract, then join Prolific on a flexible, remote advisory basis. Compensation starts at $40+ per hour, with the chance to influence AI understanding of complex neuroscience

Qualifications

• Specialized knowledge: Deep expertise in Neuroscience.
• Advanced academic credentials: Master’s or PhD in Neuroscience or related field.
• Analytical skills: history with fact-checking tasks and strong attention to detail.
• Nice to have: experience with AI-related training/evaluation or background in scientific publishing or peer review.

Responsibilities

• Scientific Review: review scientific papers alongside LLM-generated graphical abstracts.
• Fact-Checking: identify issues and inaccuracies where the graphical abstract does not faithfully represent the source scientific paper.
• Expert Verification: ensure technical concepts are visually and textually summarized correctly.
