Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in the Boston area seeks an experienced District Sales Manager to lead a specialty sales team focused on CNS therapeutic areas. The role requires extensive pharma experience, a proven leadership track, and the ability to recruit and develop top performers.

You will travel up to 75% across the district, build strong customer relationships, ensure credentialing where required, and work in a small, innovative biotech environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in the pharmaceuticals industry; 4 years of Sales Management preferred.
• Fewer than 3 years of leadership experience may be considered for the Associate DSM position.
• Specialty experience preferred: CNS, psychiatry, schizophrenia, bipolar, or depression; other specialty experience considered.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of specialty sales representatives.
• Documented high performance of sales and leadership track record.
• Driver’s license and clean driving history.
• Ability to secure and maintain reasonable industry-standard credentialing requirements of healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
• Ability to build and sustain positive relationships.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
• Strong analytical and business acumen.
• Must reside near a major airport within the district.
• Ability to maintain effectiveness and flexibility in an innovative work environment; experience in small company/start-up environments.
• Travel up to 75%.
