Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Associate Director of Neuroscience Commercial Strategy to drive corporate strategy and data-driven insights across Psychiatry, Migraine, Parkinson’s, and BOTOX Therapeutics. You will partner with senior stakeholders to prioritize strategic initiatives and lead end-to-end project execution in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment.

The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and ability to influence senior leadership.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required; MBA or advanced degree (PhD, MD) preferred.
• At least 5-7 years of professional industry experience with consulting, pipeline management, or pharmaceutical marketing, with strong analytical and strategic marketing skills.
• Experience in pharma R&D, Corporate Strategy, Brand Management, or Marketing.
• Understanding and experience with Neuroscience products inline and in development preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills across organization levels and senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Identify and solve strategic challenges to advance the Neuroscience franchise.
• Drive on-market initiatives to maximize patient impact and growth of in-line brands.
• Lead development of launch strategy for launch-ready products.
• Improve operational effectiveness with cross-functional partners (Finance/HR).
• Lead business and operational reviews to senior leadership.
