Job summary

Orlando Health Medical Group Neurosciences Horizons West is hiring an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to deliver expert care at Horizons West Hospital. The role requires Nurse Practitioner or PA credentials, Florida licensure and national certification; BLS is required.

• Current licensure and national certification for NP or PA in Florida.
• BLS certification maintained.

Responsibilities

• Acts as an advanced resource for a specialty area in a clinic setting.
• Performs complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and prescribes necessary treatments.
• Operates with a high degree of independence in patient care with minimal supervision.
• Assists in teaching students, residents and interns in specialized techniques.
• Uses advanced clinical knowledge to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
