Job Summary

The applicant will provide clinical coverage for the Neuroradiology services. Must have clinical expertise in all aspects of neuro, including interpreting neuro radiographs, CT and MR of the brain, head, neck and spine; experience in caring for neuroradiologic patients; and the ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted California Medical License
• Active and unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification
• Board Certified in Medical Specialty
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS), or UC Davis Health CPR
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Degree
• Completion of US Residency Program in Diagnostic Radiology
• Completion of a US Residency Program
• Strong political and institutional acumen sufficient to accomplish needed action in a complex public research university environment
• Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills
• Skills to analyze needs, establish priorities, and provide appropriate medical care and preventive medicine services to the campus community
• Knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of the duties assigned to the position
• Computer and keyboarding skills to use Electronic Medical Records software program
• This position is a critical position and subject to a background check
• Meets credentialing and privileging standards for UCDHS medical staff

Preferred Qualifications

• Radiology subspecialty fellowship certification in neuroradiology
• Fellowship training in neuroradiology
• Clinical expertise in all aspects of neuroradiology, including interpreting neuro radiographs, CT and MR of the brain, head, neck and spine

• Excellent oral and written communication skills including presentation skills in large and small group settings
