Job summary

Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh seeks a Neuropsychometrist to support psychologists in administering and scoring cognitive, behavioral, and emotional assessments. You will observe patients during testing and help maintain records and testing spaces.

Preferred MA/MS with certification pursuit and clinical experience with psychiatric/neurological patients; background clearances required. Training students and assisting with research tasks may also be part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of relevant experience as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.
• MA/MS preferred and certification pursued within two years of hire.
• Clinical experience with psychiatric/neurological patients and administering/scoring neuropsychological tests (e.g., WAIS, WMS).
• Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 background clearances required.

Responsibilities

• Administers and performs neuropsychological assessment procedures with patients.
• Provides behavioral observations during the testing process and scores tests.
• Maintains accurate clinical records, edits reports, and documents office visits.
• Assists in training students to administer standardized tests.
• Supports patient/provider communications under supervision and maintains testing materials and space.
