Job summary

The University of Minnesota Physicians seeks a full-time Neuropsychologist Training Director to lead the two-year APPCN postdoctoral fellowship and serve as a clinical leader within the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine in Minneapolis.

You will direct the APPCN program, collaborate with education leaders, and mentor trainees while advancing patient care and scholarly activities within an academic medical setting.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology or neuropsychology from an APA/CPA-accredited program.
• Completion of APA/CPA-approved pre-doctoral internship is required.
• Formal postdoctoral training in neuropsychology is required; APPCN guidelines preferred.
• Minnesota psychology license or eligibility is required.
• Board certification or eligibility; ABPP-CN within three years if not certified.
• Eligibility for credentialing and privileging.
• Demonstrated leadership in a neuropsychology education program.

Responsibilities

• Direct the division's 2-year APPCN postdoctoral training program, including case supervision and weekly didactics attendance.
• Collaborate with the division’s associate training directors and other education leaders in the department.
• Collaborate with departmental and clinical leadership to build partnerships and referrals.
• Engage with Rehabilitation Neuropsychology and other specialty clinics as appropriate.
• Mentor and teach trainees across the Medical School, including students, residents, fellows, and allied health professionals.
• Contribute to scholarly activities and research aligned with departmental goals.
