You will work with psychologists, therapists, medical staff, and residential teams to design individualized approaches, supervise interns, and contribute to a compassionate, teamwork-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychology from an APA-accredited program.
• Nebraska psychology license or eligibility to obtain licensure within six months of hire.
• Interest or experience in neuropsychology or rehabilitation psychology.
• Compassionate, relationship-focused approach to client care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Interest in mentorship, education, and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise and consultation for individuals with acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions.
• Conduct and supervise neuropsychological evaluations for inpatients.
• Occasional outpatient neuropsychological evaluations.
• Provide counseling, education, and therapy to clients and families.
• Collaborate with psychology department and rehabilitation team.
• Serve as a trusted resource for clinical and residential staff.
• Develop individualized approaches supporting clients’ goals.
• Provide training and supervision to predoctoral psychology interns.
• Maintain professional, ethical, privacy, and confidentiality standards.

We are partnering with a highly respected rehabilitation organization in Omaha to find a compassionate and collaborative Neuropsychologist. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with younger adults recovering from brain injuries, strokes, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological conditions.

You will join an interdisciplinary team that takes a creative, real-world approach to rehabilitation. Rather than working in isolation, you will collaborate with psychologists, therapists, medical professionals, and residential teams to help clients regain independence and build meaningful lives.

What You’ll Do

• Provide clinical expertise and consultation for individuals with acquired brain injuries, strokes, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological conditions
• Conduct and supervise neuropsychological evaluations for inpatient clients
• Complete occasional outpatient neuropsychological evaluations
• Provide supportive counseling, education, and therapeutic services to clients and their families
• Collaborate with an experienced psychology department and a broader interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
• Serve as a trusted resource for clinical and residential team members
• Help develop thoughtful, individualized approaches that support each client’s goals
• Provide ongoing training and supervision to predoctoral psychology interns through an established professional psychology internship consortium
• Maintain appropriate professional, ethical, privacy, and confidentiality standards

What We’re Looking For

• A doctoral degree, Ph.D. or Psy.D., from an APA-accredited program
• A current, unrestricted Nebraska psychology license or eligibility to obtain licensure within six months of hire
• Experience or a strong interest in neuropsychology, rehabilitation psychology, or working with neurological conditions
• A compassionate and relationship-focused approach to client care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to collaborate effectively with professionals across multiple disciplines
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
