Qualifications

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology from an APA-accredited program.
  • Current Nebraska psychologist license or ability to obtain Nebraska licensure within six months of hire.
  • Experience with neuropsychological assessment and neurological populations preferred.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare environment.
  • Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based rehabilitation care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for inpatient rehabilitation patients.
  • Provide psychological assessment and consultation for individuals with acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions.
  • Provide supportive counseling, education, and therapeutic interventions to patients and families.
  • Partner with physicians, therapists, nursing staff, and other rehabilitation professionals to develop individualized treatment recommendations.
  • Communicate assessment findings and recommendations clearly to patients, families, and members of the care team.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with ethical, legal, and professional standards.
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to psychology trainees, including pre-doctoral interns, as appropriate.
  • Contribute to program development, quality improvement initiatives, training, and research opportunities.

Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Salary: $98,000–$103,000+ annually, depending on experience and qualifications

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Neuropsychologist to join a highly collaborative rehabilitation team in Omaha, Nebraska. This is an opportunity to work closely with adults recovering from acquired brain injuries, stroke, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological conditions, helping patients and their families navigate recovery and maximize independence and quality of life.

The Neuropsychologist will play an integral role on an experienced interdisciplinary team, providing neuropsychological assessment, consultation, education, and support throughout the rehabilitation process. This position is ideal for a clinician who values meaningful patient relationships, collaboration, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact.

What You’ll Do
